The first time I decided to contest a traffic ticket
was the last time I have done that. I'm having a hard time
remembering what it was that I had done wrong.
I do remember the cop showed up and stood
in a witness box; he read from a notebook
exactly what happened as I waited my turn.
Oh yes, now I remember: I was charged with
driving at 70 in a 65 zone. Now who gets a
ticket for that?
The judge turned to me for my story,
my lead defense was that I was not driving fast
I told him , ask my parents, and I pointed at them.
